Happy Monday Friends! I just received an email from Old Navy and everything is an additional 35% off! Everything I’m wearing in these photos is from Old navy and you can shop it here:

As always you can receive 15% off your Daniel Wellington Watch with the code BRITTFOGLE. I’ve linked it here. And for a limited time you get an extra strap with your watch purchase!!
You also may receive 30% off this adorable wrap braclet with the code BRITTMF
OGLE! I’ve linked that code here.

This weekend was the best and I’m so sad its over! We visited Hopkins, SC on Saturday morning to go strawberry picking!

We went with two of my sisters, my brother-in-law and two of my nieces. If you want to be instantly entertained, bring a toddler to a strawberry field. This girl was in heaven!! They both had so much fun!

I had previously never been and it was so much fun!

They have 3 sizes of containers. You have the option to grab a pre-picked package or go pick them yourself.  We got a bucket for $12 and walked through the fields for a couple of hours. The weather was beautiful! I think we will go back before the season is over.

I’m planning on making homemade strawberry Ice-cream. We got an ice-cream maker as a wedding gift (thank you martin!) and I used it all summer long last summer. I’ll link it here in case you’re interested. Its automatic so you don’t have to churn it yourself and we love it.

The recipe I have is what I found in the book that came with the ice-cream machine. If you guys have a really great strawberry recipe, let me know! I wanna try something fun!

Happy Tuesday!

I’ve been really trying to get back into the swing of things since having a weekend away in Sunny Florida. The weather was beautiful and we drove home to a high of 65 and rain here in South Carolina.

Fortunately, I recently got this adorable monogrammed Rain Jacket which certainly helps to brighten up any dreary rainy day and I wanted to tell you a little more about it and how you may have a chance to win your very own!

KATHY’S KREATIONS

Kathy’s Kreations is the cutest little boutique in Irmo, South Carolina. They have an arrangement of items from cups, frames, baby items to, wall plaques and even monogrammed clothing. For every week in the month of April they will be giving away a free rain jacket to one lucky customer!

HOW TO ENTER

The rules are very simple. You just have to stop by the store and ask at the counter for a form to enter to win. You get one entry for simply stopping by and have the chance for an additional entry if you make a purchase!

A LITTLE MORE ABOUT THE JACKET

They have two styles. The New Englander and the Logan. They come in sizes XS-3XL.

The “Logan” comes in: Black, Aqua, coral, true navy, mint, hot pink, periwinkle, violet and bright coral.

The “New Englander” comes in: Buttercup, red, pink, wave, black, aqua, coral, true navy, mint, hot pink, periwinkle, violet, and bright coral.

I went with the New Englander in a size small and I opted for aqua with a gray font for my monogram. I LOVE it! It’s a bit loose which makes it perfect for layering.

ANOTHER WAY TO SAVE

I’m the type of person that googles for a coupon before I hit confirm on any online orders so when I found out that Kathy’s Kreations had coupons in the Mint Magazine flyer I had to share.

They have 3 coupons (not valid with any other offers or prior purchases):

  • $5 off one monogram
  • 10% off any purchase of $100 or more (personalization not included)
  • 25% off any pair of jack rogers

These offers expire on 4/30/18.

Make sure you stop in for your chance! You can stop in each day for multiple entrys also!! The Drawings are announced via their facebook page which you may follow here.

Shop my OOTD here

Happy Monday everyone! I have a short week this week since my brother is getting married this weekend but it still didn’t make waking up this morning any easier. The weekends are too short!!

Recently I’ve had something weighing pretty heavily on my heart. I have been feeling really unsure about what direction my blog taking and where I eventually want to end up. It’s so easy to get caught up in comparing yourself to other bloggers and other people in general that sometimes you have to take a step back and reevaluate the situation. I’ve found myself second guessing my style or what I want to share with you all and I really want my blog to come from an authentic place. I get inspiration from so many other women and its so easy to get swept up into comparing yourself to others.

For the past two weeks or so I’ve felt very self-conscious about the way I look and how I feel. I’ve gained a few lbs (which immediately shows when you’re 5’2″) and I haven’t felt really good about the content I’m posting. Overall, I’ve been feeling pretty lousy.

I’ve always been a sale shopper and even my more expensive items have always been gifts or things that I’ve saved up for. I guess that has something to do with growing up with 8 siblings. I’m money conscious! I constantly worry that what I’m doing isn’t enough. That I cant keep up and I cant afford to constantly buy new outfits and spend a couple hundred dollars on Tori Burch sandals (although SWOON- I want). The blogging market is oversaturated and what am I even doing to stand out? Why would anyone want to keep up with my posts? Sometimes I feel like I’m in over my head.

Today two things happened. I saw this photo –

And I received this text from a really good friend.

And I was reminded that I need to stop comparing myself to other blogs and focus on what I’m good at and my affordable style is what makes me different! I’ve been stressing about numbers and how many new followers and I’m getting and losing and its all been a little overwhelming. Sometimes all it takes is just a small reminder to keep moving forward and to not sweat the small stuff!! I hope you all appreciate that I’m able to find affordable pieces for everyday wear, dupes for expensive pieces and even splurge on the pieces that are totally worth the price.

SO – Thank you to all of my loyal followers (and especially my friend Stephanie for always knowing the right thing to say). You all mean so much to me and I’m so thankful for all of you! This blog has been such a fun creative outlet for me and although I sometimes let my own doubts get the best of me, it’s still been a very rewarding process.

I hope you all have a fabulous week!!

xo,

Britt
