We find out if we are having a girl or boy on September 2nd!! So far everything has been really good! I’m hoping that the sickness goes away and I regain some energy.

Surprise! We’re having a B A B Y !

SURPRISE!! WE’RE PREGNANT!!! We’ve been keeping a little secret in the Fogle house and we are SO excited and relieved to finally be able to share the news!!

It feels like we’ve been keeping this secret for so long, but we were patiently waiting until it was the right time. I am 12 Weeks today and everything is going wonderfully so far. We are just so glad to finally be able to share with the rest of the world!

I actually found out a few days before my period was due. I knew something was “off” and I had a feeling that I should take a test. I was so hopeful but nothing prepared me for how I felt when I saw that second pink line. We had been trying for several months and had suffered a loss before, so we were cautiously happy and hopeful. After several doctors appointments and ultrasounds to confirm our sweet baby is healthy and wiggly, we feel so so SO incredibly grateful and excited! It still doesn’t feel real!

I had always planned on telling Andy in a fun way. But when It finally happened I couldn’t keep it to myself! I have no idea how anyone walks around with that much weight on their shoulders! LOL! I realized there was no possibly way I was going to be able to hide the news and I finally blurted out “I TOOK A TEST!” The look on his face made my heart BURST. It was like Christmas morning!! Since I still wanted to surprise him in some way, I made him a basket for fathers day. I was 5.5 weeks and it was a few days after we were able to confirm by ultrasound I was in fact pregnant.

I have been very fortunate in that I have had very little sickness. The first few weeks I didn’t have an appetite and was having to force myself to eat anything so I lost 4 lbs. But I’ve only had about 5 really bad days in the last 12 weeks mostly when I ate something that didn’t sit well or if I was very hungry. Several friends recommended unisom for sickness and I’ve taken that every night. I do think that its helped!!

I still have a very weird appetite and I’ve had a hard time cooking since I’m really weird with smells. I’ve been craving lots of sweets, pickles and Mac & cheese.

My only real complaint is that I’ve been having headaches. But for the most part I’ve been good! I’m super uncomfortable in my clothes and most of my jeans were mid-rise or high-rise so I’m down to two pairs that I usually have to button with a rubber band. Its made sharing outfits a little difficult… Now that the secret is out I can dress a little more bump friendly! YAY!

*this cradle is so special to me as it was built by my grandpa 20 years ago!*

Andy has been amazing through this whole process and I’m so excited to see him become a Dad! He truly is the best partner in life and I cant wait to take on parenthood together!

Thank you all for you love and Support! We cannot wait to share our journey with you all!
